Monstersaurus slime recipe

You will need

  • PVA glue
  • Borax
  • Food colouring
  • Water
  • Two bowls

How to make

  1. Mix 1 oz of glue and a ¼ cup water in a bowl. Add the food colouring at this stage if you want coloured slime, and stir well. If you want colored slime, add food coloring to the glue and water mixture.
  2. Then add a ¼ cup of borax to the glue and water mixture and stir slowly.
  3. Your monster slime should begin to form.
  4. Mix the slime up really well – use your hands to squidge and knead it until it stops being sticky and tacky. If you have any liquid left in the bowl, just tip it out.
  5. To keep your monster slime fresh and mold-free, keep it in a plastic coontainer in the fridge.
  6. A final word of warning. Slime has a magical and not very nice affect on mothers when it’s left on carpets, rugs and sofas. Mums have actually been know to turn into monsters if they see this. You have been warned…
