Shakespeare’s Globe Interactive Storytelling returns to UAE schools

Shakespeare’s Globe Interactive Storytelling returns to UAE schools

Shakespeare’s Globe Interactive Storytelling returns to UAE schools: Art For All is delighted to announce the news that we’re bringing Shakespeare’s Globe Education Practitioners back to the UAE in November 2017! Introduce your classes to the exciting tales of the world’s most famous playwright, William Shakespeare.

The best way to learn about Shakespeare is to enjoy it and involve yourself in the performance. Educators from Shakespeare’s Globe are world experts in the works of Shakespeare – and how to teach students in an interesting and engaging way.

Students can harness Shakespeare’s universal themes, characters and tales. Shakespeare’s life and works come alive for learners of all ages. The sessions, which are tailored to suit different school curriculums, are aimed at Key Stage 1 and 2 students. They aim to bring Shakespeare to life for younger audiences, through capturing their imaginations with classics including A Winter’s Tale, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Tempest and more.

Teachers can encourage both a love and understanding of Shakespeare in young students through these entertaining and educational sessions.  The early introduction to Shakespearean language and poetry also helps students to absorb the messages and universal themes so central to the Bard’s world famous plays. The classes  encourage pupils to explore Shakespeare’s enduring theatrical narratives, not just as listeners, but as storytellers too.

Globe Interactive Storytelling is touring UAE from Sunday, 12th November – Thursday, 16th November. For more information on the sessions visit here

Dates and times: November 12th to 16th, 8:30am, 10:30am and 12:30am
