An unnamed woman lies on her deathbed, reflecting on the highs and lows of her life, her children, and her wayward husband. Holding off Death – for now – is an ambiguous character called Scarecrow, accompanying her on this contemplation of an unfulfilled life and offering comfort and recrimination in equal measure.

Marina Carr’s lament on life, love, and what could have been, full of bitter humour and brutal honesty is presented by award-winning and internationally acclaimed Danú Theatre and is directed by Padraig Downey featuring a professional cast of actors.
The theatre group has a reputation for bringing a high caliber of theatre to the region as well as challenging and diverse pieces of theatre over the past decade.

Duration: 2 hours plus an interval of 15 minutes.
